About Me

About me

I am a Psychotherapist & Certified Life Coach with over 20 years of experience, specializing in depression, anxiety, stress disorders, and couples therapy. I help adults overcome psychological suffering in order to enhance their potential and enabling them to function at their best. Using my expertise in positive psychology, I move away from solely discussing illness and pathology and focus on building psychological strengths and opportunities. Their well-being goals which often range from leading happy, meaningful lives with a sense of calm, purpose and resilience tend to be accomplished with our work together. My mission also is to enable people to find their own North Star, their internal compasses, and the vehicles that carry them forward towards their aspirations.

Putting myself in your shoes

PUTTING MYSELF IN YOUR SHOES

I am a fitness enthusiast, a long distance runner, who strongly believes that optimum health and fitness comes from our interactions—with our bodies, our minds, our selves, and the environment. I use my own experiential learning in dealing with suffering, pain and injuries to enable others to perform at their peak. My inspiration to persist in the face or challenges is best reflected by quoting David Goggins from his book Can’t Hurt Me, “Don’t stop when you are tired. Stop when you are done.” Aren’t we all seeking that ability to be tenacious, resilient, and persistent?
